Chapter 7

Sighing happily, Donovan stretched and pulled the warm body curled against his side closer into his arms. The body tensed briefly, then relaxed and cuddled back against Donovan. For a moment, he just enjoyed the closeness and warmth of having another body in his bed. He tightened his grip when Nolan stirred and tried to turn around. With a sigh, the boy subsided again.

Finally deciding to get up, Donovan slipped out of the bed. Stretching to work out some of the kinks, he went over his plans for the day. Yesterday’s emergency had turned out to be a stroke of luck, and the resolution had put him into an excellent mood. His assistant knew not to expect him in the office today, although he planned to do some work from home.

He went to the other side of the bed and looked down at his new slave. Nolan looked wide awake. His hair was tussled and tempted Donovan’s fingers to smooth it down.

“Good morning,” the boy quipped, and smiled.

Amused, Donovan reached for his wrists and unhooked the chain. He watched while Nolan rotated his shoulders and stretched, sending another bright smile in Donovan’s direction.

“Thank you, sir,” the boy said.

“Shower,” Donovan decided, and with a wave ordered Nolan out of the bed.

Maybe it was time for another lesson for his new slave, something to break this strangely domestic mood that seemed to have settled between them. While menial or domestic service was not something he expected from his slave, it would make a nice addition to Nolan’s duties and give him something else to do. Sex alone was not enough to keep the boy occupied and out of trouble.
